My last nail experience here was incredible - quick and the most beautiful nails ever. This time it took 1.5 hours and they aren’t anywhere near as good - thick, uncomfortable and the shape isn’t great. Disappointing considering the price and how incredible they were last time - I travel 1.5 hours to get to this salon. Next time I book, it will have to be with Rose otherwise it’s not worth the travel for me personally. I think they were rushed at 5.30pm. When doing BIAB - please stop doing one nail at a time and asking us to put our hand under the UV lamp to dry a single nail. Time under the UV lamps is damaging to our skin.
Do all 5 fingernails with BIAB so that they can dry at one time.
Also, I have cuts on my fingers from where the technician filed my nails too close to my skin - I had to pull my hand away a few times. For the future, if the nail file is hitting skin, just know that it feels like a papercut (and is).
